Dog walker sought over suspicious fire

Police are appealing for witnesses following a suspicious fire over the weekend.

The incident happened around 6.20pm on Sunday at an address in Trafalgar Lane. A garage was set alight, and the fire spread to a neighbouring common stair. No one was injured.

A man, reported to have been within the garage prior to the fire, is being sought. He is described as white, 20-25-years-old, with a gaunt appearance, and was wearing a yellow, black and green Adidas cap, dark-coloured knitted top, light-coloured jeans with a dark blue ‘V’ on the back pocket and black Fred Perry Trainers.

The man was also in possession of a dog.
