Driver in New Year's Day collision dies of injuries

THE driver of a car involved in a collision on Murrayburn Road on Friday, January 1, has died as a result of his injuries.

The 20-year-old was driving a Ford Fusion and was in a collision with a Vauxhall Mokka at around 6:45pm.

The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.

Police announced the man’s death last night. Investigations are ongoing into the full circumstances and anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police on 101 with information.
