Drug farm trio in court

THREE immigrants accused of running cannabis farms have appeared in court.

Ping Wu, 29, a prisoner at Edinburgh, pled guilty to producing the class B drug at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday.He was charged after police searched a house in Blackridge, West Lothian, on August 24. Sentence was deferred for two weeks.

Two other men – Thanh Van Vu, 44, and Hung Van Pham, 32 – made no plea or declaration and were remanded.
