Drugs are recovered

POLICE have recovered medication used to treat attention deficit hyperactive disorder in children which was stolen during a break-in at a pharmacy.

The pharmacy in Niddrie Mains Road was raided between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. At about 2.45am on Wednesday, two men were seen on Wauchope Road carrying plastic bags. One was arrested and charged.

Inquiries were continuing to trace a second suspect.
