The Edinburgh Evening News has launched a new Facebook group to allow members to report crime and keep up to date with the latest news.

The News has launched the group, Edinburgh Crimes and Breaking Incidents on Facebook.

Whether it is to make others aware of a potential scam or highlight a certain issue in the community, the group can be used to let us know of crimes in your area and inform our team about certain incidents.

As well as this, the group is a handy way of passing messages on from the Evening News newsdesk to the community, keeping us in touch with our readers.

Users of the group will have updates from the Evening News regarding the latest breaking crime news in the Capital.

The group is purely to gain information and not directly report crimes.
