Queen Margaret University has been presented with a higher education sector leadership award.
The fourth annual Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards saw the university pick up the top accolade for Outstanding Leadership and Management Team. Judges praised Queen Margaret’s team effort in transforming the institution over the last three years.
QMU principal, Professor Petra Wend, said: In restructuring the organisation and developing a clear and widely understood mission, vision and strategy through consultation, we are energised, in a healthy financial position and performance has greatly improved.”
Queen Margaret was the only Scottish university to be recognised at the event.
