IT’S Festival time and everywhere you look in the Capital pop up bars are, well popping up.
At the Apex Grassmarket they’re adding some extra sparkle to proceedings during the Fringe with a limited edition pop-up menu.
The BRGR+BUBBLES menu, inspired by Apex’s successful summer pop-up bar and BBQ in London, will be served in the Metro Bar & Brasserie throughout August.
Whether catching a show at Sweet Grassmarket within the hotel itself, or simply taking a pit-stop to re-fuel for some Fringe fun, festival-goers can enjoy handcrafted burgers washed down with Lanson Black Label Champagne, Stelle d’Italia Prosecco, or a selection of local beers.
Apex’s chefs have created a menu paying homage to Scottish foodie favourites – including the Irn Man with signature Irn Bru BBQ sauce, the Chippy Supper featuring signature fish supper flavours, and the Mac which is packed with moreish mac and cheese.
Alan Taylor, General Manager at Apex Grassmarket, says, “We’re thrilled to introduce the BRGR+BUBBLES menu to Edinburgh.
“The pop-up at Apex Temple Court in London has been such a success that we wanted to bring the menu, with a Scottish twist, north of the border – and what better time than the world-famous Festival Fringe.”
The BRGR+BUBBLES menu at Apex Grassmarket will be available seven days a week until Friday 31 August.
