BUSTED are back, the boyband who crashed the wedding, slept with the light on, and travelled to the year 3000 in the early noughties are set to play the Usher Hall, next year.

James Bourne, Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson broke onto the music scene in 2002 with What I Go To School For, a cheeky ode to Willis’ school teacher Miss MacKenzie, and within two years were the biggest thing in pop, scoring four No 1s.

Following their first single in more than a decade, On What You’re On, the trio have announced a 21 date tour, which brings them to the Usher Hall on 25 February 2017.

Simpson says, “We can’t wait for people to share what we have been working so hard on for the past 12 months.”

However, with a decade of experiences and new influences to their credit, don’t expect more of the same.

Bourne says, “The last thing we wanted to do was try to recreate what we used to have. It belongs to that time.

“All real artists evolve, all real artists try things, it’s unnatural not to.”

Tickets priced £29.50 go on-sale from 9am on Friday from www.livenation.co.uk
