THERE are many great vantage points from which to watch the Capital’s annual Festival fireworks display and this year, there is a brand new one... the roof top of The Principal hotel, formerly The George, on George Street.
As the summer festival season comes to a close, The Principal will host a party on the roof of the award winning hotel.
Join the revellers in the Threesixty:Forth pop-up bar, which features stunning views of the city and is the perfect spot to watch the end of festival fireworks, on Monday.
The evening starts at 7.30pm with a signature cocktail on arrival. A selection of snacks direct from the kitchen will also be served throughout the night.
The hotel’s resident DJ will provide the sound-track of the evening until it’s time for the fireworks display.
On the roof terrace you will be able to watch the breathtaking display while listening to a live broadcast of the accompanying concert from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
Andreas Maszczyk, General Manager of The Principal George Street says, “Edinburgh has an undeniable magic throughout August and our team are delighted to celebrate the Festivals with a spectacular closing party held at our pop-up roof top venue, Threesixty:Forth.
“With a sound-track live from Princess Street Gardens and iconic views of the showstopping display, our party on Monday will be one to remember in the unique surroundings of our luxury hotels rooftop bar.”
Tickets for the event cost £25 per person and are available from Eventbrite.
Due to the nature of the pop up there are a limited number of tickets available and all tickets must be purchased in advance.
