Children are being invited to put on their most outlandish outfits for a day out in Leith.
Friends of Montgomery Street Park is hosting a summer fair on Saturday, August 20 and is inviting youngsters to take part in a fancy dress parade.
Everyone who takes part will receive a prize.
A prize will also be given for the best homemade cake creations.
Also taking place at the event, which runs from midday until 4pm, are bunting-based fun and games, market stalls, refreshments, competitions and information and fundraising relating to the latest park improvements.
There will also be performances of the Brazilian art form capoeira by Capoeira Senzala Scotland, while the Phelan School of Dance, which teaches tap, ballet, modern, jazz, Highland, hip-hop, street and pop dance will also be appearing.
