film director Werner Herzog will give a Q&A session via satellite to an audience in the Capital.
The director best known for powerful documentaries such as the award-winning Grizzly Man, will be speaking at the Cameo Cinema on March 27.
The event will follow a screening of his film Into the Abyss: A Tale of Death, A Tale of Life, which follows the experiences of Michael Perry and Jason Burkett, two men found guilty of three brutal murders. Perry was executed eight days after filming began while Burkett was sentenced to life in prison, and Herzog’s film has been praised for showing the devastating effects on all involved. The screening starts at 6.15pm at the cinema in Home Street.
