THERE’S nothing like a good birthday party with their friends to give kids memories that will last a lifetime - how many of us still remember the trampoline centre at Portobello, the favourite venue for a generation of birthday boys and girls ready to bounce the years away to a sound track of hits like Carl Douglas’ Kung Fu Fighting, before snacking on juice and mini sausage rolls.

There’s a chance to experience the modern day equivalent for free next month at Party Party Dumbrae, Drumbrae Leisure Centre’s Open-Weekend showcasing Edinburgh Leisure’s new birthday party offering.

From going wild on an amazing bouncy castle to football to tennis to cheer-leading with friends, Edinburgh Leisure reckon they have birthday parties nailed.

The line-up of exciting multi-activity programmes lined up for three to 12 year olds have been developed to make sure your child and their friends have the time of their lives, whilst saving parents the hassle of organising the event and keeping the kids entertained.

The Open Weekend will run from 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday, 12 May and from 10am to 3.30pm on Sunday, 13 May.

So, take the opportunity to drop in and find out what all the fun is about, no booking is required.

Anyone booking a multi-activity birthday party during the Open Weekend will also be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a party for free (terms and conditions apply).

Drumbrae’s birthday parties cost £85 and includes 60 minutes of activities and games, and 30 minutes for food and drinks, which need to be supplied by the party hosts, and any games held by the hosts such as pass the parcel.
