HOLY ghosts are a four-piece from Edinburgh playing rock ‘n’ roll with a splash of country and a dash of the blues.

Formed last summer, the band take their cues from the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Johnny Cash.

Performing live is the group’s strongest suit; the use of razor-sharp guitars, spine-tingling harmonies and charismatic stage presence making them ones to look out for in 2012.

Winner of the prestigious 2011 BBC Radio 2 Horizon Award, Edinburgh’s Ewan McLennan is a star in the making.

Now based in Yorkshire, his music combines traditional folk with an inevitable focus on the music of Scotland, as well as his own self-penned songs that are receiving critical acclaim in their own right.

His debut album, Rags & Robes, was released to glowing reviews last year - so don’t miss the chance to get acquainted with this home-grown talent as he returns to his own patch.
