FROM Harry Potter to Star Trek, Game of Thrones to Deadpool, the stars of the comic world and their spin-off TV series and films descend on the EICC on 14 and 15 April for the fifth Edinburgh Comic Con. Here are some of the top guests you’ll be able to meet if you are attending the event.

DOMINIC KEATING

Lt Malcolm Reed in Star Trek Enterprise

LONG before landing the role of Lieutenant Malcolm Reed, Dominic once appeared at the Playhouse opposite Tim Spall in a play called Screamers. He is also remembered as Tony in Channel 4’s Desmond’s.

Other credits include The Immortal, Good vs Evil, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Heroes and Sons of Anarchy.

JOSHUA HERDMAN

Gregory Goyle in Harry Potter

FROM Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, right up to Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2, Joshua grew up in front of our own eyes.

STEFAN KAPICIC

Colossus in Deadpool

STEFAN played Colossus in Deadpool, giving Ryan Reynolds such a run for his money, it comes as little surprise that he’s back for the sequel.

RONY BRIDGES

First Order general in Star Wars

RONY was one of the First Order Generals in Star Wars: Ep VII The Force Awakens and the only one to be immortalised as a LEGO figure. Other credits include Rebus, Garrow’s Law, Eagle, Valhalla Rising and Outlander.

Ser Brynden Tully in Game of Thrones

CLIVE also appeared in Spaced and as Tyr Odinson in Thor: The Dark World. Other TV credits include Ripper Street, Merlin, Still Game and Sherlock Holmes.

FABIAN NICIEZA

Creator of Deadpool

FABIAN has created numerous characters for Marvel, while writing titles such as X-Men, X-Force, New Warriors, Cable and Deadpool and Thunderbolts.

GIANLUCA GUGLIOTTA

Comic Book Artist

GIANLUCA’S work Marvel includes Secret Warriors, X-Campus, Klaws of The Panther and Dark Reign: Mr Negative, for DC, Mister Terrific and Lois Lane and the Resistance.

GI Joe fans will know his work from IDW’s GI Joe Opertion Hiss.

FERNANDO DAGNINO

Comic Book Artist

FERNANDO has drawn for Justice League: Generation Lost, Resurrection Man, Suicide Squad, Superman, Action Comics, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batman and the Outsiders among others.

IAN KENNEDY

Comic Book Artist

IAN’S work has appeared in 2000AD, Battle Picture Weekly, Blake’s 7, Eagle (Dan Dare) and DC Thomson’s pocket books including Commando, the covers of which he still continues to draw.

DAN McDAID

Comic Book Artist

TITLES Dan has worked on include Doctor Who Magazine, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Big Trouble in Little China, Judge Dredd and Doom Patrol.
