A ROCK choir is set to take to the stage at the Assembly Rooms this weekend for a charity fundraiser.

The spectacular summer show, in aid of Drake Music Scotland, promises to be an exciting display of uplifting, feel-good, contemporary hits.

Rock Choir will perform the likes of Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’, Jess Glynne’s ‘Hold My Hand’ and Erasure’s ‘A Little Respect’

Leader Elaine Williamson said: “We are extremely excited to be performing at the Edinburgh Assembly Rooms and we are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile local charity.

“It certainly promises to be a memorable and momentous event for all involved.”

Rock Choir members get together each week to attend rehearsals and hold lots of performances throughout the year – many of them for charity.

Tickets for Saturday’s show are available by calling 0131-668 2019 or online at
