ACCLAIMED composer Fung Lam, whose work premiered at this year’s BBC Proms, is set to make a guest appearance at his former school in Musselburgh.

The 33-year-old, who studied music at Loretto School, hit the high notes when his composition Endless Forms was performed at this year’s Proms on the same billing as works by Rachmaninov and Prokofiev.

Director of external affairs Jonathan Hewat said: “Fung has offered to return to Loretto. He’s an inspiration.”
