LIGHTS. Models. Guest List... just do your best darling. Patsy and Edina would be in their element at Life & Style Edinburgh, which is set to showcase the best of life in the Capital.
From fashion shows to free beauty treatments, celebrity speakers to cocktail-making workshops, just a few of the highlights you can take part in this weekend.
Split into two daily sessions, spend a morning (10am-2pm), or afternoon (2pm-6pm), exploring different themed rooms across three floors of The Royal Society, George Street, each brimming with pop-up showrooms, workshops and talks from more than 40 top city outlets.
Lifestyle Stage talks include Common Interior Crimes and Fixes’ with BBC Great Interior Design Challenge judge Sophie Robinson, and Start Creating Video Now! with YouTubers Gavin Bell and Shaun Vlog.
There’s also a Make-Up Masterclass with Bobbi Brown and Britain’s Next Top Model’s Simone Murphy, while Topshop hosts Trend Talks.
Other talks include Get your Hygge On with BoConcept; Get the Natural Look with Nude By Nature from Debenhams; The Best of You, with Scotland Women’s Rugby Captain Lisa Martin; #goals with lululemon; and Breakfast Hacks with Bibi’s Bakery.
Event organiser Amy Mancini of Essential Edinburgh says, “We have so many wonderful city centre businesses across various lifestyle sectors and Life & Style Edinburgh brings them all together in one place to showcase how amazing it is to live here in the Capital.
“It’s definitely an event for those who love fashion and pampering, but we also have rooms themed around interior design, fitness, travel, technology and food & drink. We hope to inspire and introduce new experiences.”
Life & Style Edinburgh will also take over St Andrew Square, with free yoga sessions and a display of Tesla battery powered cars.
