MAMA Mia, here we go again...In the seventies and eighties no one produced pure pop quite like Abba.
Over a decade, Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and Anni-frid built on their Eurovision win to became one of the most commercially successful acts in the history of pop, topping the charts around the world from 1975 to 1982.
They won the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 at the Dome in Brighton, UK, giving Sweden its first triumph in the contest, and were the most successful group ever to take part in the competition.
And judging by the number of tribute acts in constant demand it would appear there’s still nothing quite like a fix of Abba to lift the spirits.
On February 13, Arrival UK, The No 1 International Abba tribute visit the Brunton Theatre, Musselburgh.
One of the most sought after tribute bands in the world today, Arrival UK have performed to sell-out audiences in the UK, Europe, the USA, Russia, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
Bursting on stage with an energy not witnessed since the great band themselves toured in the 1970s, Arrival UK features a fabulous collection of lavish and authentic replica costumes.
Expect all the old favourites such as Super Trouper, The Winner Takes It All, Money Money Money and Fernando
