Have your say

IT’S a lot harder being eight years old than you think. Edinburgh University Savoy Opera Group bring to life the classic Charles M Schulz’s comic strip.

EUSOG have done a good job in reviving this Tony award-winning musical at Augustine’s on George IV Bridge.

Finlay MacAulay fits the role of Charlie Brown perfectly and works well with his fellow cast members, who also successfully deliver their own grace into this band of lovable misfits. A simplistic set also demonstrates the talent of both actors and in-house band. Each musical number is performed with gusto and its well choreographed dance sequences provide a satisfying pathos to a script built entirely on short sketches.

Filled with the dry wit and nostalgic charm you’d expect from Schulz’s complex characters.
