Events to light up city exhibition

SPECIAL events are planned for the final few days of a controversial exhibition by the acclaimed artist David Mach.

Guided tours and presentations are taking place up until the Precious Light exhibition closes on Sunday at the City Art Centre.

Faith leaders were set to hold organised tours of the exhibition today to discuss the meaning of the work within contemporary religion, with tours leaving from the ground floor every 15 minutes from 11am.

At 4pm today there was due to be a short multi-faith ceremony focusing on the theme of breaking apart and coming together, which will conclude with the sharing of a simple meal.

A film screening is planned for 1.30pm tomorrow, when the film The Book That Changed the World, which stars actor John Rhys-Davies, is shown. The events are free with an exhibition ticket, which costs £5, or £3.50 for concessions.
