Former Scotland international Garry O’Connor has had a serious motoring charge against him dropped.
The 31-year-old was arrested last year for allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs or drink.
The case against the former Hibs star was due to call for trial at Haddington Sheriff Court.
It later emerged the case against him had been dropped and the father-of-two would not be facing any more proceedings due to a lack of evidence.
O’Connor had been accused of driving his Chrysler 300C while under the influence in Port Seton, East Lothian. He had denied the charge
