Facility set to sport revamp

A COMMUNITY sports facility is set to undergo a revamp, including the creation of three five-a-side pitches and a basketball court.

Pennypit Community Development Trust applied for permission to carry out the work at the Pennypit Sports Centre in Prestonpans.

The running track will be removed to create the five-a-side areas, while a basketball key and fence will also be added. There are also plans to resurface two pitches.
