Family flees from fire

A FAMILY escaped from their South Queensferry home after a fire broke out yesterday evening.

Fire crews attended a blaze on Station Road around 6.50pm but found the occupants had got out safely.

The fire service said the level of damage was not clear but that the Red Cross support vehicle attended the scene to help the family.
