Festival back in business

Have your say

THE Meadows Festival is to return tomorrow despite fears that it would never be seen again in the Capital.

Last autumn it looked likely that a lack of volunteer organisers would mean the 40-year-old event would fold.

However, it was salvaged after an influx of fresh blood – and it has been promised that this year’s festival will be
bigger than ever.

A kids’ corner, live music, arts, a football tournament and a dog show are among the highlights. It takes place in the Meadows this weekend.
