Festival hope for budding film-makers

A CHANCE to network with industry experts is being offered to aspiring film-makers as part of a new initiative from the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Network is a talent development initiative for screenwriters, directors and producers looking to develop a feature film project.

Co-funded by Skillset and Creative Scotland, it will offer 12 participants the opportunity to build connections with industry experts through an exclusive online portal. Each participant will have the opportunity to be mentored, supported and guided by specialists in their field, with the goal of developing their own feature project.

Participants will also be invited to formal and informal events throughout the year culminating at the 2012 Edinburgh International Film Festival.
