ONE of the UK’s leading financial services recruitment firms is to open an office in Edinburgh.

In a sign of recovery in the Capital’s finance sector, McGregor Boyall will launch its operation this week.

Managing director Laurie Boyall said the move was due to the city’s “strongly growing profile”.

Mr Boyall said his firm would start with two employees but would seek to expand over the coming months.

He said: “Edinburgh has always been renowned for its investment and asset management profile and is now increasingly perceived as a deep reservoir of talent for retail financial services and wholesale banking.”
