Dozens of firefighters were called out to a blaze in Edinburgh city centre on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to an office block in Thistle Street Lane off St Andrew after being alerted to the fire at about 10:30.

Traffic restrictions were put in place at North and South St David Street while the blaze was tackled.

The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed it also attended the scene and had been liaising with the other emergency services.

It’s understood there were no casualties.
