Flying the flag for Norway

NORWEGIANS based in the Capital celebrated their country’s national day of celebration during a parade on the Royal Mile. They waved flags and banners during yesterday’s march on what is a national holiday in their native land.

May 17 in 1814 was when Norway was declared an independent country.
