Football crackdown

A TWELFTH man has been arrested and charged in connection with alleged football disorder following last month’s match between Hibs and Sunderland.

Officers carried out early morning raids on Wednesday, and 11 men were charged after being arrested.

A 25-year-old man from Edinburgh attended Gayfield police station late on Wednesday night and was charged with an alleged racially motivated breach of the peace.

He was set to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday.
