Friends group bid for park

A BID to establish a friends group for John Muir Country Park has been launched by East Lothian Council.

The organisation would be involved in the running of the park as well as having an input into future planning.

A spokesperson said: “This is an opportunity for local people and users of the site to become involved with the practical management and ecological recording on the park.

“It is also a chance to work closely with East Lothian in considering ideas for the future management of the site.”
