Fund boost for the Law

North Berwick Law is to benefit from a share of £145,000 of Heritage Lottery funding.

Conservation charity Plantlife is working to safeguard and restore areas of grassland and wildflowers found in the reserve as part of its Saving Our Magnificent Meadow campaign.

Plantlife will be working in partnership with Scottish Natural Heritage.

According to the charity, 98 per cent of the UK’s meadows and grasslands have disappeared since the 1930s.
