Gilroy pleads for jail move

KILLER David Gilroy has pleaded to be transferred out of Saughton Prison, it was reported today.

Gilroy, 49, who was convicted of murdering Suzanne Pilley, is reportedly being targeted by other prisoners, who are “taxing” him.

It is believed that food and drinks have been taken from Gilroy and he has been threatened.

He is said to have requested a move to Shotts Prison while he awaits an appeal.
