Hard-hitting Capital visit for minister

Scottish Justice Minister Kenny MacAskill was helping Tyler Gibson, 13, fight crime in his training at the Lochend Amateur Boxing Club, Edinburgh.

Mr MacAskill was there to announce that cash recovered from the proceeds of crime will be used to encourage young people to participate in boxing.

More than 100 boxing clubs across Scotland will benefit from £360,000 CashBack for Communities funding. It is the first time the sport has been involved in the scheme.
