Health chiefs assess board

HEALTH chiefs will gather in the Capital today to assess the performance of NHS Lothian over the past year.

The health board will hold its annual review at the Waverley Gate headquarters in front of officials and members of the public.

Among the items up for discussion will be progress on Capital projects such as the new Sick Kids hospital, as well as performance on a range of issues such as waiting times and delayed discharge.
