disability information service Grapevine is to hold a meeting in the west of Edinburgh to highlight benefit changes for disabled people and their carers.
The disability benefits briefing will be held in the Capital Hotel, Clermiston Road, between 10am and 1pm tomorrow.
The city’s health and social care leader, Councillor Paul Edie, who will open the meeting, said: “Disabled people are currently facing a time of great uncertainty with changes to their benefits and support. In the current economic climate, anything that can be done to advise disabled people and their carers regarding their finances is to be welcomed.”
