A HEARTS fan is facing court accused of hurling furniture across a busy pub during a rammy after a game last season.

John Meikle, 31, of Wester Drylaw Park, is alleged to have “acted aggressively” and committed a breach of the peace at the Lloyds Capital bar in Dundee’s Seagate on April 27.

He is further accused of “culpably and recklessly” throwing an item of furniture through the air. Meikle is said to have been at a game between Dundee and Hearts.

His case continued without plea at Dundee Sheriff Court
