Hearts or Birkirkara to face Krasnodar in Europa League QR3

Hearts will face Krasnodar in the third qualifying round of the Europa League should they overcome Birkirkara on Thursday night.

The Jambos drew 0-0 in Malta last night and are favourites to defeat Drazen Besek’s men in the return leg at Tynecastle.

If they do so, they’ll be rewarded with a tie against the Russian Premier League side,

Dates for the first and second leg are still to be confirmed, but Hearts are expected to be at home first as they would be unseeded.
