Hockey: Edinburgh Uni look to get hands on Scottish Cup

The former Inverleith and Reading star has, however, never won a Scottish Cup medal and has a chance to put that right when Edinburgh University face Bromac Kelburne at Glasgow’s National Hockey Centre today (4.00pm).

Kelburne claimed their 12th straight Division One title recently. It’s a huge task for coach Graham Moodie’s students but they have enjoyed success over Kelburne in the league this season.

Meanwhile, Edinburgh University women go for glory tomorrow when they face arch-rivals Grove Menzieshill in their final at the Glasgow Green venue. Sam Judge, Edinburgh’s coach, guided her squad to a second successive league title and is now chasing a noteable double.
