The Gumball 3000 is an annual British 3,000-mile international motor rally which takes place on public roads. It last passed through Edinburgh in 2014.

Last night thousands turned out to see the cavalcade of luxury sportscars, driven by celebrities including The Hoff and, according to the Gumball 3000 website, Snoop Dogg, EVE, Travis Barker, Xzibit and more.

This year’s Gumball 3000, from Dublin to Bucharest, is raising money for The Gumball 3000 Foundation, which was established in 2013 to benefit disadvantaged youth through educational, recreational and environmental-focused projects around the world.
