SHERLOCK and Watson were searching for clues ahead of a production featuring the master of deduction at the Traverse.

The Arthur Conan Doyle Appreciation Society, starring Javier Marzan as Sherlock and John Nicholson as his assistant, brings the author face-to-face with his character.

The show opens on Thursday and runs until December 22.
