Homes down on the farm

A DEVELOPER is set to transform farm steading buildings into new homes after the plans were given a green light by council chiefs.

GAP developments applied for planning permission to turn the buildings at Seton East Steading, near Longniddry, into nine homes.

A farm shop would be created as part of the development while a shed would be erected to store farm machinery.

The proposals were approved by East Lothian Council.
