TEN jobs have been created with the opening of Loanhead’s first Indian restaurant.
Radhuni in Clerk Street is the second Midlothian restaurant set up by Matin Khan after winning national awards with Itihaas in Dalkeith.
Matin, who moved to the UK from Bangladesh in 1984 at the age of 13, said: “I thought long and hard before settling on this site for my new restaurant. I was surprised to learn that Loanhead had no Indian restaurant and wanted to fill such a big gap in the town’s eat-out offering.”
Radhuni, meaning passionate cook in Bangladeshi, was previously Gaffers pub and can seat 120.
