Hotel’s new boss checks in

A NEW director of operations has been appointed to the city’s Caledonian Hilton hotel.

Monica De Castro will take up the role after ten years in the hospitality industry, having held several managerial positions including revenue manager at Hilton London Islington and conference and events business manager at London Hilton on Park Lane.

Speaking of her new role, Ms De Castro said: “I am thrilled to be joining the team at Caledonian Hilton Edinburgh.”
