A HUGE recruitment drive has got under way ahead of this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Hundreds of staff are required to fill various roles during the month-long extravaganza.
Organisers have advertised both paid and voluntary positions for the world’s largest festival of culture.
Among the roles available are 30 street events stewards to ensure the smooth running of stages and performance areas, including along the Royal Mile and The Mound. One Fringe publicist is looking for a press assistant to deal with media organisations from around the world.
The French Institute is also looking for box office staff during August.
The Stand Comedy Club operator Salt’n’Sauce Productions is taking on bar staff and supervisors to work at the Famous Spiegelterrace outside the Assembly Rooms on George Street.
The full list of roles is available on the Fringe website.
