HUNDREDS of runners took part in The Edinburgh MoRun in Holyrood Park yesterday.

The non-competive event was staged over a choice of 5k or 10k courses.

Every MoRunner was encouraged to wear a moustache, whether stuck on, drawn on or carefully grown.

The runs were staged to raise funds for men’s health charities.

Events throughout the country for the Movember charity, raised an estimated £200,000 last year and in 2013 MoRunning is aiming to raise over £400,000. As part of the fun there were prizes for the best fancy dress and all entrants received a unique moustache medal.
