Police are appealing for help in finding Ryan McCann, 34, who was last spotted in the Capital.

Ryan, from Paisley, was last seen yesterday at a Scotmid store on Saughton Hall Road, in Edinburgh at around 5.58pm.

He had previously been seen at around 1.50pm on Saturday at Glasgow Central station where he boarded a train to return to Paisley, where it is believed he has picked up his white Fiat 500L.

He is described as 5ft 10, medium build with short brown hair. He was wearing a grey and yellow Everlast jacket, blue/navy jumper with “BROOKLYN” written in white across the front and white trainers. It is thought that he may be sleeping in his Fiat 500L car which is white with black trimmings.

Police would like to highlight that the car is more distinctive than a regular Fiat 500L with a longer body and slightly larger wheel arches.

PC Eddie McLemon of Paisley Police Office said: “Police and family members have become increasingly concerned for Ryan and would like to speak to anyone that has seen him since 1.50pm on Saturday 18th October 2014 or knows his present whereabouts to get in touch with us. We would also like Ryan to get in touch with us to confirm he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Paisley police office on 101 and ask to speak to the incident room
