Hunt for missing man

POLICE have appealed for help in tracing a man who went missing from his home in Bournemouth and may have travelled to Scotland.

Dorset police have contacted their colleagues in the Lothian and Borders force in a bid to help find 43-year-old Gavin John Miller, who was last seen in June.

Mr Miller – also known by the last name of Dunne – was reported missing on September 12.

Sergeant Andy Cutler said: “Gavin has no known family or friends locally. We think that he recently discovered he had a daughter in Scotland who had just graduated from a university there.”

Mr Miller is described as white, medium build and approximately 5ft 9in tall with short brown hair.
