'˜Increasing concern' for missing man Max Aitken
Police in Forth Valley are re-appealing for information to help trace a 41-year-old man who went missing from the Forth Valley area two weeks ago.
Max Aitken, from the Stirling area, was reported missing after he left Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert, around 5pm on Monday, May 15.
He was seen later that day on CCTV in West Port Street, Edinburgh, around 8pm. He was heading in the direction of Princes Street, after which he is lost to sight.
There has been no information on Max’s whereabouts since and officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
Max is described as a white man, around 5ft 6 inches tall, with a muscular build. When last seen he was wearing a beige jacket, a pink polo shirt and navy tracksuit bottoms with light stripes down the side. He was also wearing grey sandshoes/ trainers.
Sergeant Alasdair Matheson of Stirling Police Station said: “It has now been two weeks since Max was reported missing and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who recognises his description or his photograph and who might have information that can help us to trace Max.
“Similarly if Max himself sees this appeal we would ask him to get in touch to let us know he is safe and well.”
Anyone with information about where Max may be is asked to contact officers at Stirling Police Station on 101, quoting incident number 0726 of May 16.
