Information service offers free childcare advice to Midlothian parents

Have your say

Parents in Midlothian are being offered free advice on how to find the right childcare for their family.

Midlothian Council’s Childcare Information Service provides advice about the range of childcare providers, with options including playgroups, private and voluntary nurseries, childminders and wrap around care.

Information is also available about out-of-school childcare, such as breakfast clubs.

Councillor Peter Boyes, Cabinet Member for Education and Communities, said: “With such a wide range of options available it can sometimes be difficult to find the right solution for your family. Our free information service will help guide you through the options so that you find the most appropriate childcare for your needs.”
