JK Rowling’s “good luck” to Potter’s son on first day at school

J.K. ROWLING took to Twitter to wish Harry Potter’s son ‘good luck’ as he starts Hogwarts causing a flurry online.

The Harry Potter book’s timeline states that today is the day when the famous wizard’s son, James Sirius Potter, starts school at Hogwarts.

And as a reminder to fans, Rowling, who penned the first book in Edinburgh, took to Twitter to ask her fans to wish the fictional boy well.

The writer tweeted: “I’m in Edinburgh, so could somebody at King’s Cross wish James S Potter good luck for me? He’s starting at Hogwarts today. #BackToHogwarts.”

The comment was favourited a staggering 33,000 times only short time after going up online.

Rowling will soon add to her cinematic collection prequel to the Potter books, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - a movie about the creatures who inhabit Potter’s world.

Harry Potter’s son was named after his dad James, and godfather Sirius Black. My how mythical time flies!
